“Financial Planning equals forward planning, equals financial security”For the past three decades Frank Cochran has advised thousands of people on how to grow their wealth and ensure long term financial security. His sensational success has meant he now advises some of the UK’s top footballers, television personalities and national lottery winners. In 1993 Frank took his passion and talent for finance and formed his own company FSC Investment Services. In 2007 he set up a subsidiary company, Celebrity Financial Planning. His companies manage over £70 million worth of funds for clients across the wealth spectrum. Frank sees his job as “looking after the wealth of his clients and preserving and protecting during periods of uncertainty to ensure long term financial security”. He is also determined to bring advice to the nation. He says, “Financial planning is often looked on as something for the wealthy but basic financial planning techniques can be employed across every household. People shouldn’t fight shy of seeking professional advice” His dedication to this belief saw his vocal support of the Financial Planning Week launched by the Institute of Financial Planning to raise awareness of the importance of long term strategy. Frank started his career as a trainee financial advisor in 1979 working for Berkley Walbrook. He quickly worked his way up the corporate ladder and became a senior unit manager before moving on to Hewland Ross. He was then headhunted and moved to Crown Financial Management a Canadian company. From there he went onto work for Royal Life looking after nine branches across the central belt of the UK from Norfolk to Wales. His final corporate move was to Life Association of Scotland part of the ING group based in Edinburgh. Frank has been married for more than 20 years, has two children and lives in South Staffordshire. He is an avid motorsports fan and collector of vintage electric guitars. A keen sportsman, he was a member of the Great Britain Olympic trench shooting squad and has represented Scotland in Clay Pigeon competitions. He plays golf and enjoys drag racing. He is actively involved in charity work for The Variety Club and Promise Dreams and he is a governor of RNLI. |
